Our Treatments

Our physical therapy treatments are tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient. Some of the techniques and methods we use include:

  • Manual Therapy: Hands-on techniques such as joint mobilization and soft tissue manipulation to improve mobility and reduce pain.
  • Therapeutic Exercises: Strengthening, flexibility, and endurance exercises designed to restore function and prevent further injury.
  • Modalities: Advanced tools such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy to relieve pain and enhance recovery.
  • Education: Guidance on posture, ergonomics, and at-home exercises to maintain progress and prevent setbacks.
  • Assistive Devices: Recommendations and training on the use of braces, walkers, or other devices to improve mobility and independence.
  • Aquatic Therapy: ​A specialized form of physical therapy that uses the resistance of water instead of weights. Our aquatic therapy is available in a warm-water therapeutic pool with an underwater treadmill and video analysis, located at the Clough Family Center for Rehabilitative and Sports Therapies in Concord, Massachusetts.
