Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC)
A Voice for Patients. A Partner in Care.
Emerson Health’s Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) is a dedicated group of volunteer patients, family members, and Emerson Health staff who have received or supported care within our health system. Together, we work in partnership to shape the future of patient care at Emerson Health.
What We Do
PFAC members provide ideas, input, and personal perspectives to help guide quality improvement, patient experience initiatives, and research projects. Our members share their stories, insights, and suggestions to improve services, programs, and processes across Emerson Health.
We raise important issues and feedback that are shared with hospital leadership and clinical teams—ensuring that the patient voice is central to all we do. Our work helps create meaningful, lasting changes that enhance the care experience for all.
Representing Our Community
We reflect the diverse patients and families in our service area, including Concord and the surrounding towns. Through our collaboration, we’ve made positive contributions to improving patient satisfaction, communication, and the overall healthcare experience at Emerson Health.
