Our Services

  • Inpatient Behavioral Health: Emerson provides inpatient care for severe psychiatric illness, detoxification, and patients admitted to the hospital for other medical reasons who also struggle with behavioral health.
    • For inpatient detox, contact our triage team at 978-287-3516, or go to Emerson Hospital’s Emergency Department.
  • Addiction Services: Our outpatient addiction recovery program is a bridge between full or partial hospitalization programs and traditional outpatient treatment and therapy.
  • Emergency Psychiatric Triage: Emerson’s Emergency Department has a 24/7 Psychiatric Triage Team consisting of licensed clinicians that provide a diagnostic evaluation, risk assessment, and determination of need for additional care. If our evaluation points to the need for inpatient or outpatient treatment, our Triage Team will assist in securing the appropriate services.
  • Children and Adolescents: While Emerson does not have an inpatient pediatric behavioral health program, our psychiatric triage team is available to provide diagnostic evaluation and risk assessment. This service can be accessed by visiting our Emergency Department.
