Emerson Health Lab Services
Staffed by highly-trained pathologists, lab technicians, and technologists, our expert team uses the most sophisticated lab technology. Emerson’s clinical lab is located within Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA, and features:
- State-of-the-art clinical capabilities include chemistry, microbiology, blood banking, hematology, coagulation,
- Comprehensive anatomic pathology, histology, and cytology.
- State-of-the-art instrumentation to dissect tissue specimens, examine slides, and identify cancer cells, among other pathologies

All specimen collection center locations are closed on the following holidays:

- Fourth of July
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas Day
The Emerson Hospital and Westford labs are open limited hours on the following holidays, while all other labs are closed on these days:
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Presidents Day
- Patriots Day
- Columbus Day
- The day after Thanksgiving
