Health Insurance

Our health plan covers physician visits, hospitalization, emergency care, prescriptions, routine eye exams and a fitness benefit. Coverage is effective on the first of the month following an employee’s start date.

Dental Insurance

Our dental plan covers preventive care at 100%, basic restorative care at 80% and major restorative care at 50%. Coverage is effective on the first of the month following an employee’s start date.

Paid Time Off Program

We recognize the benefit of compensated time away from the workplace. This is why we provide compensated time off to be used for all absences including vacations, holidays, sick leave and personal days, offering you the ultimate in flexibility.

Retirement Savings Plan

Emerson Health is pleased to provide all employees with a retirement savings program through Fidelity Investments. There is no waiting period. You decide how much to invest on a before-tax basis, up to IRS maximum. The plan has a discretionary core component funded by Emerson Health; this contribution to the plan is determined at the start of each calendar year.

Life and Long Term Disability Insurance

At Emerson Health, we give you the opportunity to provide your dependents with a lifetime of financial security with basic group and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance. Emerson Hospital provides employees entitled to full-time benefits with basic life and AD&D insurance coverage at no cost to the eligible employees. Coverage includes a death benefit, accelerated benefits and a terminal illness benefit. The coverage also has a conversion privilege.

Tuition Assistance

Emerson Health recognizes the importance of education, training and development in the retention and growth of our employees. Emerson encourages employees to take advantage of opportunities that increase their knowledge and skills in their present jobs and/or prepares them for advancement within the organization. Eligible employees may be reimbursed the cost of tuition at accredited colleges and CEU or non-degree work related courses.

Confidential counseling is available to employees and their families seeking professional guidance with personal or work-related issues.

The Transparency in Coverage Final Rules require certain health plans to disclose on a public website information regarding in-network provider rates and historical out-of-network allowed amounts and billed charges for covered items and services in two separate machine-readable files (MRFs).
